When the Big East was around, I had two teams: The Panthers of course, number one. I also was a fan of NC St., living so much in NC, and I tired of the UNC and Duke bias. Another unnecessary fact, I lived many years in CA and still root for UCLA.
Panthers-Pack-Bruins!

Sitting here listening to the game. Panthers are up by 9 and Hillgrove says the NC State fans are leaving the building with just under 4 minutes remaining. I am beginning to wonder is Pitt that much better this year. Not that NC State is an ACC power.

NC State was 7-1 going in. Panthers played very good defense in winning 68-60. Panthers are now 6-3

Can they play .500 ball in the conference? That would make for a successful season.

A couple weeks ago on The Fan, they were talking about Jeff Capel being in line to be fired after the back to back blowout losses to WVU and Michigan. Good to see them playing well again. Glad to hear that talk die down too.

Agree.
I doubt that Coach K's coming out of retirement, so until Pitt plans on hiring someone better, I'll support JC.
One would think that Pitt BB fans would have learned that lesson by now.
