What can I say, It is nice to see that Shelty is playing guys the day after they near career games. My only worry is with Mathias but I guess Shelty is playing the lefty/righty

game with him against Gomber.

Already 5-0 good guys. Bucs bat around in the first inning. They have to put this one in the W column.

Cutch has been in decline the past couple year (.222, .237) but he's off to a great start. I don't expect him to maintain a .300ish BA but he clearly wanted to come back to Pittsburgh and it's possible he may feel reenergized as a Pirate and improve on his past few seasons.

Yep you gotta finish this one off. The Pirates need to bank as many of these early season wins that they can get. You got the Reds coming in here for 4 this weekend. Take 3 of 4 from them as well and continue to build momentum and get yourself out in front of the pack.
