Okay, now we're getting to the point of why all these outfielders? I also want to point out, how the members of this board also complain about constant lineup changes.

So, which one is it? For me, yes I'd like to see a set lineup. But last I recall, Palacios was hitting. Smith-Njigba has only seen the field as a defensive replacement in a blow out. We've also seen a history of the "Sunday lineup" from Shelton.

So why not sit Reynolds and Santana, let Joe play first, and let both Palacios and CSN play the OF today? I think that's a way to get them some AB's. Let's not forget, Rodolfo Castro and Mark Mathias are still on the team.

All this makes me wonder even more why there are only 12 pitchers.

However, are we seeing a trending by Shelton to start going with guys he feels are clearly above the rest. And that's fine, that's great, same lineup most days, same batting order. But they still need that other pitcher.

Congrats to Cutch. Glad Surg was able to see it. My wife who made me call her this weekend every time Cutch came up said,

" now maybe things will get back to normal around here"

I made it thru 2.5 innings of Joe Block before having to overlay the radio audio. Block constantly asked Kevin Young to explain the nuances of baseball to us because we obviously need lessons to understand what we are seeing. ::)
