We all know there has been a remarkable rebuild of the farm, but what is the likely impact to the Pirates by the start of 2023?

Rum Bunter just posted an excellent article about the 2022 AAA team: let me introduce (much of) the 2023 Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club. It’s got the potential to be a very exciting decade in front of us.

I do not think that article is 100% correct, which is a common theme with Rumbunter the last few years. He has way too many players completely skipping levels.

Carmen Mldozinski is not starting next year in AAA, he was moved to Indy for innings, not as a promotion. He will be in AA. Eli Wilson is not going to be in AAA, he will be in Greensboro or maybe Altoona. Zero chance Triolo skips a level as well.

Indy will have a much more exciting roster with some actual prospects instead of retreads.
