No other catcher on the 40 man roster

Post by Surgnbuck »

Just looked out of curiosity. I wonder of the 4 catchers at Indianapolis, who gets called up. My guess will be Perez.

But regardless who they bring, someone has to go off the 40 man roster.

Indy is at home they said on the broadcast, only 100 miles from Cincy. It would be irresponsible of the Pirates not to get one of those 4 catchers to the next game.

Who goes though? Obviously Roberto goes on the IL to make room on the roster.

I'm guessing Newman goes on the 60 day IL

Or BC can release any one of about half a dozen guys. I’d suggest Tucker.

Howard can't throw strikes. No loss there.
