I have yet to jump on the Keller bandwagon. Even when he's pitching well, he always seems to give runs right back. He really needed some offensive support tonight. Looks like the Pirates got caught thinking this one was a slam dunk.
All the talk about signing him long term, etc. has been put on hold

My thoughts were do it for a full season first.

Pirates go in order again for the second inning in a row. They have packed it in tonight.

That inning hurt. The meat of the order goes down without a whisper of a scoring threat. We have six outs to work with. The bottom of the order has to pick up the big boys.

Welp, that should wrap it up. Not much faith in a team that’s playing terribly to turn it around in two innings.
