An excellent way to show Keller he was lucky to make it this far and they have no faith in him if he goes further. So after a strong start, he can carry a lack of confidence into his next game, knowing that no matter how well he was doing today, they didn't trust him to go any further than 5.1 innings. Good job, Shelton.
Why not have Chavis pinch hit instead of Perez ?
opps, didn't realize Chavis had already battered. Had to Pee :D

I hope it didn't get caught in the zipper!   :D :D :D :D

We all have done that before :D
Bucs get swept :'(

Just looked at our batting averages after today’s game, and most of the players have below batting averages. They have to start hitting. It could be that the Brewers pitchers are very good. We will see if the bats awaken in Chicago.

Easy. He's in hiding. No one's seed hide nor hair of him for some strange reason. Guess he has nothing to say.

It helps to have the reigning Cy Young Award winner, if that's an indication.

They were good- against us.  That's all that matters.

We had difficulty with Wainwright earlier.  We took advantage of the Nationals' staff.  The Nats might very well be a worse club than the Pirates.  They really aren't all that good.  I'd take Juan Soto in a hearbbeat, though.

Going into the season, I think that most folks who've followed the Bucs for any length of time were aware of our issues.  Pitching's been mentioned a lot.  Other than Reynolds and a couple of others, hitting, too.

This shouldn't come as much of a surprise.  See how the team did last year.  Subtract Stallings, who has to have at least some effect on pitching.  Add Perez, Quintana, and who else.

As expected, in my opinion.

I did ask him. What he did say I really can't post on here. However he did say that "you should get a life"

There is a song verse that has been in my head since we started the series with Brewers: "Slip Sliding Away".

I won't surrender until I see how the Cub series goes.

The Pirates currently have only Chavis (.500), Hayes (.326), Vogelbach (.324) and Castillo (.273) hitting above .238. I wonder what the odds are that all 4 will be in the lineup tonight. :-/
