McClanahan easy 6th, sure would have liked the Bucs to get his pitch count up and get him out of the game, but he looks good for the 7th. Just where we want him

So they said in the broadcast that BC said VanMeter is going to be the first one of the IL guys ready to return.



But should he? If he does, it has to be Vogelbach sent packing. Second choice would be Chang. Those are the only two players on the roster I'd rather have VanMeter.

Beede on to pitch, no doubt Shelton needs at least 2 innings from him

Question for the esteemed grouping- Pirates showing 49 guys on the 40 man roster, but only 8 guys are on the 60 day IL. How are they keeping an extra guy?

Beede does a fine job working around a one out double, managed to throw only 10 pitches and still struck out two

Heineman throws runner out trying to steal by a mile but....Castillo doesn't get the tag down



should be out of the inning,now a runner in scoring position 2 outs

Heinimen is a very good defensive catcher.

Great at blocking pitches and quick arm.

Great bunter as well.

We need an upgrade over Banda too. But, that's probably a 2023 thing, gettting this pen situated
