If the Bucs get the number one pick who would you want them to draft?1? Kumar Rocker,rhp.2.Jud Fabian, of,3.Jack Leiter,rhp.4. Jaden Hill,rhp.5.Brady House ss/RHP.or other?

Is it correct that it's not set in stone yet that they'll just use this year's record to set the draft order, maybe combine records of the last two seasons?

Being reported the 2021 draft will coincide with next years All Star Game in July. Also it was noted that the order of the draft has not yet been determined.

I am nervous that MLB might change the rules for drafting next year. That would be rotten luck for the Pirates if that happened.

Also according to the article below Manfrrd would also need by in from the MLBPA. That might also be detrimental. Although the slot money is set; I’m sure MLBPA would hate to see an impact rookie stuck in the hands of the cheapest organization in the league!

my guess is the rules will only change if the Pirates have the worst record this year.

That's my big worry. A made for TV draft lottery spectacle would be hard to resist for the league. With our luck we'll end up like the Detroit Red Wings, who had the worst record in the NHL (by far), but ended up with the fourth pick in the next draft.

Pitching is the name of the game but we need some hitters down below also . We have Gonzales and I think he will be solid and move up the ladder fast. The hype of Cruz, that really seems to be overrated IMHO . The kid Jack Herman was the one I was most interested in seeing what he could do this season. We need some hitters.
