They were saying about how Stratton hadn't been scored on after 4 straight outings of being scored on, but like I said, he's just no longer reliable.

Now a hustle double after a diving attempt by Madris, if Reynolds gets the throw on the correct side of the bag they might have got him

Stratton needs to go join Banda where ever he is. We got the best of him, but he has no best any more

So we'll have Suwinski, VanMeter, and Perez to overcome whatever deficit we have going to the ninth

I'm digging up Robert the Bruce to fight you off when you're the Queen

I’m old but I’m not angry.  I just think the whole thing is silly.  Instead of wasting time on that I’d like them to do a baseball history lesson.  Baseball’s history is so rich, so filled with fun stuff, that I think it could entertain just as well.  But that’s me.
Doc, how much history are you teaching in half an inning. Besides, it's a math lesson, they keep track of the players wins.

Half innings last nearly three minutes.  With peoples’ attention spans these days, that’s nearly a lifetime.  Lots of good stuff could be imparted in that time.

Stratton with a 5.46 ERA in what's usually high leverage situations. It's plainly obvious, he's not suited for the task
