Kuhl was doing well in his pitch count until that 5th inning. I thought for sure he would go six, which was his problem last year.



I assume he is done at 98 pitches. 7 Ks in five innings. Nothing really hit hard. He is in line for the Win.

Why is the sixth inning so tough for pitchers? Not sure why Neverauskas was left in with the bases loaded and then to Votto.

Dissapointing to jump out to a 4-0 lead and not be able to win. Still have a chance with Taillon on the mound tomorrow to win 3 of 4 and start the year 7-2 which I think we all would have signed up for a few weeks ago.

Glasnow was electric and Kuhl pitched well enough.

Kontos won't last long if he keeps hanging his cutter over the middle of the plate. Neverauskas should be shipped to Indy for Moroff tonight.



Suarez just signed a new contract. He will be a pain in our backside for the next half decade.

If Polanco is hurt, they need a bench guy. Hurdle said he was available. That left two bench guys and Cervelli. Someone needs called up for Sunday.
