Appears Chapman may get traded to Cubs

Unlike the Pirates, the cubs don't have to wring hands too much about trading prospects. They know they can also get top line players via free agency. The Pirates have to take a chance on flawed players via free agency and hope they can fix them while also picking and choosing what prospects they can use as chips but maintaining the future. NH has it a lot harder than the cubs GM.

I agree.

Theo Epstein is known as a great GM, but he has always had the money backing him. With that said, he understands long term winning comes from within and built. But he does have the resources to fill any holes he may have.

This stinks. It was so great to get him in the AL.

I know there are great Closers, but he has to be the most feared. This is bad for the Pirates even if he is in a set up role.
