Is it not a little surprising that the signing of Garcia has not yet been made official? It is about 10 days since they said he was going to sign with the Pirates. I wonder if there was something wrong with his physical, or possibly he just not yet has come to Pittsburgh. To me there seems like a delay to finalize the agreement. A roster move does need to happen whenever the deal becomes official, but it should not be difficult to remove someone from the current roster.
