The Pirates traded James Tallion for 4 minor leaguers: Contreas, Yajure, Castillo, and Park. All four of the players acquired in the trade have already seen time in the majors. While Contreas appears to have the highest ceiling, Castillo and Yajure also appear to have some upside, and Park may (read may) be able to serve as a versatile utility man.
It is rare to see the Pirates experience benefits from all 4 minor league players acquired in a trade. And with Tallion now turning 31, it clearly appears that BC made a good decision to move him when he did, and for the talent received in return.
Now, gotta hope that Shelton (and perhaps BC) give Castillo a bit more playing time to see if he is the real deal as a starting option at 2nd. Contreas also looked good last night for a pitcher who has thrown so few innings at the AA or AAA level.

I believe that Castillo and Park were in the Clay Holmes deal which is a steal by itself.
In addition to Contreras and Yagure, it was Cannon Nigbe Smith and Mickail Escotto
