Archer would be nice also I agree.

If my confidence in Meadows was just a little higher, I might do that trade. Clevinger has been very good for 1.5 seasons now and is under control until 2023. His walk rate is pretty good and coming down. He could be a #2 or eventually a #1. The hesitation is that it feels like a lateral move for this year - based on a lack of confidence in Meadows’ ability to produce enough the rest of the way. Assuming he develops next year and beyond, it could be a very good move. But is Cleveland deep enough in pitching to let him go?

Orioles have agreed to a deal with an unnamed team pending physicals. Per Twitter rumors it is Gausman and Schoop for Holmes, Luplow and Harrison. Take it for what its worth.

I'm reading that the Rays want Keller for Acher.

We can't trade away Hearns and Keller, can we?

Look, Archer is good. But he is not a No. 1 starter (although he might be OUR No. 1).

Archer should be valued as a No. 2 guy, or a high No. 3. That's it.

We can't pay for him like he's Justin Verlander.
