Even with an 11-1 lead, the Pirates remind you they can still get Piratey

Underwhelming isn't an innings eater. He's a lead eater. He's already eaten thru 2 runs of the 10-run lead he inherited.

2 run double surrendered by Underwood Jr. Looks to be leaving with an injury.

I think Doc's question is going to be answered. No doubt the Pirates use this as an opportunity to put him on the IL and bring up an arm from Indy or Altoona

I think it was Marcano intentionally dropped the ball on the infield fly rule. Runners didn't know what to do and took off, even though they didn't have to. Should have had a DP at third.

And now I see a replay. It wasn't an intentional drop. It was the Pirates ugly infield defense. Should have worked in their favor though.

A few years ago, Brandon Phillips (playing with Cincinnati, against the Brewers, I think) did that on a half line drive/half pop up. Funny thing, IFR doesn't apply on a line drive. So, you can intentionally drop a line drive and the force is still on.

That was crazy. The runner was approaching Bae, but Bae threw to 3B instead of tagging him.

Once again, the Casey Stengel quote, "Doesn't anyone here know how to play this game?"

This has got to be the ugliest start to an inning for a team with a 10 run lead.

Thankfully Underwood is removed. He really doesn’t belong here. The team is trying to learn how to win games and he’s not helping.

Yep, looks like Marcano and Hayes let it drop on purpose, but they forgot to think if the other guys knew what to do, which Bae obviously didn't.

I've never been a fan of his after whining about lack of veterans on the team. He can't even do his own job
