This was just another gut punch in a whole slew of them through the seasson

poor defense, poor relief pitching, poor decision making on the coaches.

I don't know if it's been covered yet, but it looks like we've clinched bottom three in the draft standings. The Wikipedia article about the MLB draft says, "The general draft order is the reverse order of the previous year's standings, until 2022. If two teams finish with identical records, the previous year's standings of the two teams is the tiebreaker, with the team having a worse record receiving the higher pick." Consistency is rewarded.

Thanks for posting this tidbit. I was not aware of the tie breaker. I was assuming that since we beat the Reds 12-7 in the head to head season series that they would get the #3 spot. I feel better now
