Did you finally spring for cable with that teacher's pension paying you 239 percent of your retirement year base pay?

Or just following on gameday using your neighbor's wifi?

Good to know I'm not the only person watching baseball and not football. All last night people kept asking me about the football games today. Told them all football doesn't exist until the World Series ends.

Besides, we have Champs here to let us know how the Steelers did...and the Eagles. Him, WWD, GW they all have a Philly unfascination

Don't be putting the bad mouth on us teachers.  We may have been overpaid but we certainly weren't overworked.

No, we still just have the basic cable.  Even if we had a package that included sports channels, I doubt I'd watch baseball.  I can't just sit and watch it, except at the ballpark.  I usually follow it on Gameday or the radio.  Then I watch the highlights on MLB.com.

Some weird stuff yesterday, though.  The throw in the Astros/Sox game that hit the batter running to first base;  Arozarena colliding with Schwarber in the Tampa/Boston game;  the ball bouncing off the wall and then the right fielder before going over the wall in the Rays/Sox game.  There's nothing better than baseball.

What do the first round of the playoffs and the bucs have in common? NO SWEEPS

Austin Meadows had a 17-pitch at bat tonight. He ultimately struck out. In the meantime, his Rays are down two games to one and trail 5-0 in the fifth.

Good bye Rays.  Gave it a good shot. Gotta make up a new model to follow now.
