He's safe, his hand was not in the glove....but replay says otherwise

Not only am I surprised they overturned that call, but how quickly they did it

Every replay looked like Castro was out. Block and Walker are shocked. Another fail on the runner at 3B running on contact against a drawn in infield.

This team is so awful hitting with runners on base. Neil kind of half assed blabbered about it earlier, didn't quite get his whole point across

I wholeheartedly disagree with you in every count. Diaz had the ball in his hand, and it wasn't in the glove when he first made contact, by the time it got in there, he was way safe.

I was thinking the same thing but for a different reason. With the ghost runner being used in the 10th inning now, few games go beyond two extra innings, greatly reducing the chances that the reserve catcher would be injured should he be brought into the game and a team then be forced to scramble for a third catcher. There seems to be little reason now to not pinch hit for a weak hittIng catcher late in a game.

They're also so awful at hitting without runners on base. But only those 2 times.

Kind of would have preferred Crowe stay out there for one more guy, only at 13 pitches.

why do I have a bad feeling a hit's coming when they had that guy picked off?
