Cardinals lose.

Fish lose.

Fish and Pirates tied. 1 1/2 games behind Cardinals.

Giants losing 3-1 in 5th. IF the Giants lose tonight and Pirates win the Pirates will be 3 games out of 1st WC.

But Braun is coming to the plate as the tying run. :-X

Just getting back from the beach. Last I heard we were down 5-1 early.

Now find out that we win 9-6!

What a day. Now let's sweep these morons tomorrow afternoon and FINISH THE DEAL like they've done to us so many times. Cannot let up tomorrow. Gotta get the sweep and another W before heading into Wrigley.

I am going to throw in some Giant watching as well. They are down 3 to 1 to Atlanta in the top of the 6th. They have been so bad since the All-Star break I think we have a legitimate shot to pass them. A loss tonight puts us 3 games behind them for the 1st WC spot.

In the meantime, anybody following the WC in the AL? Baltimore dropping like a stone and 5 teams within 3 games of the O's for the second WC spot. Pretty interesting WC races in both leagues.

Pirates have won 7 straight on the road.

Gotta make it 8.

If they can do that and then get one in Wrigley, it will be a very successful 5-2 road trip.
