Personally, I thought it was an outstanding move, and typified why I much prefer NL baseball. Yeah, it didn't work out. But I like the strategy. You'd never see such a move in the AL.

Agreed.  He has made some strange moves.  I didn't like pulling Kershaw after 7 yesterday.  He was only at about 84 pitches.  If you are the Cubs, you'd give anything to get Kershaw out of the game.  You know the Cubs can't score off of him.  The same may be the case with Jansen, but you don't know.  It worked out last night, but it was a gamble.
He has a plan, unlike Hurdle who seems lost most of the times, I'm ready to move on, hire Phils manager he did more with less than anyone this year.
