The TBJ acquire Adam Cimder and former Pirates dumpee, Corey Dickerson, from The Fish for Joe Panik and some Suspect who may or may never see the light of day in a MLB uniform.
An injured player and a mediocre reliever who the Pirates tagged for 4 hits, 2 walks, and 2 runs in 1.2 IP, for a one season wonder journeyman status 2B and a suspect.
Now the REAL deal:
Miami dumps $10,425,000 and takes on 1,850,000. They also send some cash Toronto's way.
All for: 1. A guy who is primarily going to be a LH DH and 2. A guy who is an upgrade in a bad bullpen, but he isn't exactly lights out either.
But hey, only the Pirates make these kind of financial deals, right?

Well they do let you upgrade your seats if you want, and pay the difference. I guess that's something.
