I guess Marcano and Park are simply place setters. I don't get why Allen gets so many more chances over either of them.

I think JVM got more playing time. Has there even been a Park sighting since the call up?

Park has had one plate appearance since the call up. Marcano hasn't played since the 7th, he's only played in three games in september. He's 0-11 last three games. I guess he's the only one on the team accountable for having a couple of bad games at the plate.

I guess the only reason Allen is playing today is because he is

a Right handed bat against Quintana. Didn't want to have Suwinski and Mitchell (both Left handed bats)

Agree on Mercano- needs to play

Two days in a row the bullpen couldn’t hold the lead in the 9th, with Pujols (surprise, surprise), in the middle of it. Some things never change.

After last night, I don't think anything surprises me anymore with this team. Just another game where they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

Or, with Bednar available, the series was that close to being a sweep. There’s the initial makings of a team that can be competitive. A few of the players have arrived and show promise. They’ll continue to learn to be consistent. More of them are on the way to replace the guys who aren’t capable. The near future, to me, looks a lot better than the past seven years.
