Pirates are the MLB.TV free game of the day. Let's hope Thompson can give up no more than 2 runs in his 4 innings. They may have to redefine a quality start as 4 innings and a 4.50 ERA. :-/

If they do, it’s in line with the other ways they’re making the game easier to succeed, like the DH, ghost runners, bigger bases next year, bigger rosters. It won’t be long before everyone gets a trophy.
