Can't wait. Probably start his career off with 5 innings of no-hit ball and 8 K's. :(

Hope he has a fine career. No use for all the rending of garments and gnashing of teeth otherwise.

Same thoughts as I have for every other former Pirates, whether they're a MLB dumpee or a suspect like he was: Best of luck to the guy. May ours do even better.

Baz has a 1-2-3 first inning on 12 pitches including Ks swinging of Springer and Guerrero.

I thought Baz rhymed with "jazz" but the TB announcers say it as though it rhymes with "pause."

I always thought it rhymed with "We got fleeced."  :(

Watching the game, and man it's almost like the Rays announcers are rubbing it in, but they aren't. They can't help putting the picture of all three in the trade with the caption, "Quite a Haul" or something like that. Meadows is the first Ray to drive in 100 runs since 2010 btw.

They said as soon as he came over, they had him ditch his 2 seam, worked on his 4 seam, taught him a slider, and developed his change up.

Through 2 innings, Baz retired 5 of 6 on 26 pitches but Teo Hernandez homered.
