Padres rumored to be firing their manager

That sometimes happens when a team underperforms. And the Padres had some locker room issues and and an epic collapse. On August 10th they were 67-49. The rest of the way they went 12-34. That's a bad look for a manager and Tingler didn't have enough of a track record to weather the storm. 2020 was his first year as an MLB manager but that was only a 60 game season even though they did well. It's never all the manager's fault. But enough went wrong for them this year that they didn't want him returning at the helm next year.   


I get that, probably shouldn't have hired the guy to begin with if you are willing to fire him after a season and a half. That is failure from above.
