Astros looking for a #1 starter and could offer IF Alex Bregman .

Cole for Bregman + another player.

Bregman is 22 and should offer some nice power in years to come and can play 3rd /SS /2b.

I thought Cole wasn't a #1?

I don't do that one if I'm Houston. No chance. He doesn't have that type of value. He isn't worth Bregman straight up IMO.

Right idea, wrong time. Cole is stumbling along, learning to pitch. At some point it will all click for him and he'll be a strong starter. The time to trade is when he has a year left before free agency. This year though they will need his arm (and I'm a believer that he will bounce back for 2017).
