I rearranged my schedule to be able to watch today's game, or most of it at least. It's about time the Bucs do two things. One, come from behind and win a game. Two, win a high scoring game, like 9-8 or something.

Bases loaded in the bottom of the second. No outs. Bucs usually don't score in these situations. We'll see...

If the Bucs had any luck at all today I should have been IA starting this thread and Surg finally making a game with his abominable losing record while in attendance and me having some computer problems that kept me from starting the thread in time.

Oh shit. Bases loaded nobody out. As Block say, "Sacks are packed for Jack!"

I don't get the calls to send Oviedo to the bullpen. He has potentially elite level stuff. I see a lot of Charlie Morton in him. Bucs gave up on Morton too soon, IMO. I hope they don't give up on him. I can see him being better than Keller in the long run.

And on cue, he has an immaculate inning. I promise, I posted this at the start of that inning.

Castro either needs to put switch hitting in the dumpster and go exclusively right handed, or learn to hit righties from the left side. He's a drastic improvement over Bae. But left-handed, he's not good, at least at this stage of his career.

What's with MLB players not being able to get a bunt down? What an abysmal effort from Owings.

What are MLB players doing bunting in the first place? Hit, or go down swinging.

Bunting's for suspects.
