I haven't started a game thread all year, and it's appropriate, because this might be the first game all year I get to watch in its entirety. (Maybe)

They got beat by the fastball last night, now they are attacking it tonight. Was Arietta's fastball that great or did they not adjust during the game?

I wish Hurdle would set up for the double play more. Even on the road, I like the odds. A righty was on deck.

Anybody EVER see a run down double play like that which closed the bottom of the 8th. Craziest “play” ever.

Dickerson records the last out on a throw from Marte. So it goes something like 3-5-3–2-5-6-4-8-9.

After tonight (Pirates losing in the bottom of the 8th and the pens losing because they gave up a short handed goal) all I think of is:

And I puked. Just when I was ready to take up drinking I had to listen to the dumbest commercial ever. Now I really feel bad.

No. Running hard and all over the place. Literally, there were run downs in process between 1st and 2nd, 3rd and home, and 2nd and third. This was all Choreographed by Josh Harrison.
