I'm conflicted tonight about who to root for. I have rooted for the Mets since 1969 and their 1st WS win. My college roommate was a big Mets fan and we were able to get some of the games on his radio. I have always said that the Mets were my fav except when they played the Bucs. I guess that is how it will be tonight.

Let's go Bucs

DeJong DFA, Smith-Njigba recalled. Not sure the reasoning to go with a 12 man pitching staff. 6 outfielders on the team, not counting Cutch.

I was thinking the same, and also where Smith-Njigba is going to get at bats. Seems another pitcher would help more.

They need to do something with CSN and Cal Mitchell bring them up to play and stay or showcase for a trade. Pirates have a lot of avg. OF prospects who hit FA next season.

Hedges' double gives Bucs 2-1 lead. And another great teaching moment from Joe Block: "On an automatic double, you're entitled to 2 bases." Gee, thanks Joe. So that's how that works.

Lindor HR ties it. Joe Block fails to explain how many bases you get for a HR. I'm so confused.

Linder ties it on a solo homer. 2-2 bottom of 3rd.
