Santana 10th for 1B

Cutch 6th for DH

Reynolds 18th for OF

Needless to say, they aren't stuffing ballots in Pittsburgh

This is yet another indication that the line-up is filled with utility players. Those guys don't go to All Star Games.

We need to mount a national campaign for him. Voters everywhere need to know how majestic his pitch framing is. How divine his game calling is. Show film of the 5 attempted base stealers he threw out. (The other 33 were just lucky.) Talk about all the times he didn't commit catcher's interference. Point out that 3 NL catchers have committed more errors. Emphasize that he has a pair of 2-hit games and 1 hit in 17 other games and has only gone hitless in 23 of his 42 starts.

Let's get the word out! Vote Hedges!!!

Dig it!

You're a baseball genius. Hedges starts the ASG. "Hedgie" is the reason that the team got off to such an impressive beginning of the season.

And, that makes Cherington the best that money can pay for.

And, who better to lead this campaign than Surg? He can crow with the best. With Surg behind him, Hedges can cash that big, fat All Star bonus check right now.

My campaign slogan:

"You can't have catching hegemony without Hedges"
