"The Pirates acquired RHP Scott Randall from the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for INF/OF Diego Castillo, who was DFA when they signed C Austin Hedges.

Randall, 24, a 2021 7th-rd pick, was 6-7 w/ 3.82 ERA/1.16 WHIP, 104 K/25 BB in 108 IP over 21 GS for High-A Hillsboro in '22." - Gorman

His ERA throughout college was decent and he has a nice strikeouts to walks ratio. Had a decent season in High A last year. He was old for the league but he could move quickly through the Pirates system. If he holds his own in Altoona, the Pirates might have a dependable #5 starter, or long reliever, in a few years.
