Down 3-0 bottom of the 3rd. It might be time to start reconsidering Brault’s spot in the rotation he just isn’t getting it done.

He isn't a major league pitcher. It's pretty simple.

Yeah, coming into the season, I expected a bad team but was interested to see how the rotation would evolve. Brault was outstanding last year in AAA but doesn't seem to have a plus pitch and needs to be a smart pitcher who sets up batters and can put the pitch where he wants it. Unfortunately, he suffers from a glaring lack of control with a high frequency of walks and a league leading 5 WPs. Looking a lot like a AAAA pitcher. And while it's obviously still very early, there's nothing about his performances that suggests he's capable of doing better. On the other hand, Musgrove failed badly last year as a starter and Glasnow is Glasnow. Maybe Kingham will impress Sunday. :-/

at this point you have to hope Musgrove is a competent starter when he returns. If he isn't, that idea; is a total fail. There are very few options on the farm that are close to stepping in as a starter. Keller. That might be it. Interested to see what Nick can do. This rotation is all on management. I warned them and they didn't do a single thing.

Max can’t move Mercer.

Polanco is embarrassed with an ugly SO.

Marte gets the last opportunity to walk off.

Dominicans. So talented. So undisciplined.

Despite all his immense talent, Marte is the worst player on the team in terms of identifying pitches. I can't understand why any pitcher throws him a strike. He swings regardless of how far away the pitch is.
