Cutch’s Time With Giants May be Short

Bumgarner was hit today and has a broken finger which will require surgery. Jeff Samardzija is also injured and will begin the season on the DL. These two injuries are a big hit to the Giants pitching staff. If they fall out of the race I would expect they move Cutch to a contender in July if not sooner.

Maybe the Bucs will be the contender that will get him back for Bryce Brentz and George Kontos (if the Giants throw in some cash).

Man ... not sure what to make of Cutch's start to the season.

In one game, he went 6-7 with 4 RBI.

In the other 8 games: 3-32 with 0 RBI.

If he hadn't had a career in one night, his first two weeks would be a straight-up disaster.
