Luxury tax cap will increase over the next 5 years to ~$210M. The luxury tax is to increase however.
Qualifying offer no longer includes a 1st round pick. Generally it will be a 3rd round.
Biggest concern for the Buccos is of course the luxury tax - Bob will have to watch the budget. If he goes over the $209M the tax is pretty stiff. Fiscal restraint along with fiscal flexibility is called for....

Haha, you forgot the most important part--that the ASG no longer decides home field for the series. Nice to retire that little bit of stupidity to the history books.
