I don't recall the Pirates doing all that well against rookie pitchers the last few years. Do we have more hope this year?

Apparently, Vogelbach is still hurting from the HP collision when the 3B coach had no business sending him.

At least we don't have Yoshi and VanMeter batting 4-5.

Reynolds is beginning to hit which only gives them 4 legit hitters in the lineup (1-4). The other 5 are a toss up as to where to bat in the order. Might as well play Castro, Castillo and Suwinski every day as long as they're on the roster. But it might be time to let Suwinski (.176) develop at AAA (he came straight from AA). VanMeter should be asking if we'd like fries with that.
