I guess BC & Shelty know what Chavis can do and Hayes needs a game off because he homered yesterday. I can't figure out how those two make up a lineup.

And Newman is the ideal #5 hitter. And I thought Collins was brought up to be a 3rd catcher. But I guess they looked at his career .195 BA and thought "First base material!!!"

It would appear Shelton has no intention of winning this game. Gamblers must love those clues.

Very nice beginning for Ortiz as he retires the side in order, nothing getting out of the infield.

Collins: WTF. A below .200 hitter. Why is he on the roster taking at bats away from higher potential prospects?

Oviedo pitched a great 5 innings in the opener!
