On September 22, 1968 Jim Pagliaroni was catching for Oakland and Jackie Hernandez played SS and 1B for the Twins. What was memorable about this game is that the Twins' Cesar Tovar played an inning at each position. He pitched a scoreless 1st inning, then caught, then moved in order to 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF, CF and RF. The Twins won the game 2-1.

I'm watching the annual Democrats vs Republicans charity baseball game on Fox sports 1. They mentioned some former pro athletes who have participated over the years including former Buc Jim Bunning. But they failed to mention Vinegar Bend Mizell. Rep Chris Deluzio is wearing a Pirates uniform (black jersey).
