He got off to a rough start with Toronto serving up a HR on the first pitch he threw for them and being scored upon in 5 of his first 8 relief appearances. His last 2 games have been better, giving up no runs in a total of 4.2 innings. Still a SSS so his Toronto ERA is fluctuating a lot based on every outing.

Just saw on MLB Trade Rumors he was designated for assignment. Wow!
Kingham has cleared waivers, and was outrighted to the Jays AAA team.

Jordan Lyles won his first start for the Brewers last night. He pitched 5 innings 3hits and one run. His next start should be against Pittsburgh this upcoming week, and if he pitches a good game against them some heads should roll ASAP.

I hope he does pitch well for Milwaukee. There is no reason why anyone should be in trouble for trading Lyles. He is exactly the sort of guy they should trade at the deadline. Then take a shot on the international money and the prospect. They should have found a way to do that with the other expiring contract players.

Reese McGuire was recalled by Toronto. And Harold Ramirez is hitting .272 with 7 HRs for Miami. Drew Hutchison has a 5.57 ERA in AAA this year.
