I don't care how annoying Robbie is with these questions, I'm just glad to actually see him because it means we finally won

did Robbie actually ask, "how cool was that?" twice? Once each to Bednar and Holderman

Bucs back to .500, back to a single game behind the Brewers, back to a positive run differential of +1 too!

Call confirmed. Pirates again can't score a guy from third with one out. If Delay hadn't hesitated, he scores easy, the first baseman didn't field it well.
Also, I just learned, when the infield is in, then there's no blocking the plate. I don't get that.
Either way, another wasted opportunity. Those bad Pirates traits that never seem to end, regardless the change of faces.
Manaea out, that's strange. He was only at 53 pitches. Cutch to face a righty now
What?!? Another dumb rule. So there are two rules regarding the catcher receiving a throw home, be it from the infield or outfield? And a throw from the infield is based upon two situations, the infielders being up or back? What if they're somewhere in between? I'm guessing the umpires determine if they are or they aren't. What if two determine the infielders are in and two determine they're not in far enough? How does one determine "far enough"? It's like trying to agree on the distance of a gimme putt.

The first player I remember to wear glasses was Julian Javier of the Cardinals, but there were guys before him.

Didn't watch the game, Surg. Thank you for your expert
commentary. Bucs really needed that one.

.500 I'm happy. Connor Joe seems to enjoy hitting HR's against the team that brought him up.
Not sure how we'll do today but I hope this team can get ahead .500 when STL. and OAK. come to town.
