If it were Game 7 of the World Series, I still wouldn’t listen to Block. I’d rather read about the game in the paper the next day.

My goodness, why does this team continue to do stupid stuff? They're not young and learning anymore! There's been OODLES of freaking bad decisions by this team already they should have PH freaking D's in base running by now!

Hey, now that the pirates board is back up for the general public on reddit, there was a post about the current top ten managers for MOTY based upon some probably bullhockey poll of writers that has Shelton 8th right now

I agree. We've all said at one time or another as a caveat, "Well, let's see what happens when he has better players." This we know already. He isn't making them better base runners, that's for dam sure.

Hill was a little" too strong" possibly tonite, hence the walks, spin rates up over avg. Really holding things in check was solid.

Team needs to pull this out.
