Perfect example of how umps are complicit this year in shortening games by calling bogus strikes. Called 3rd strike on Hayes to end the game was not even remotely close to the strike zone. But the ump decided to end the game there rather than having another batter come to the plate. These bizarre calls are common all over MLB this year.

At this rate, owners will be against robo ball/strike calls because they won't want strikes to be limited to actual strikes.

This may be among the team’s worst performances in 2023. Two hits, 17 strikeouts, coming a day after a terrific offensive performance. I guess we should expect this sort of thing from a team comprised of players like we have.

Must have used all the mojo yesterday. What an ugly game with 17 Ks. Son happy, dad not.

Let's win the series tomorrow. The wife, who loves all things Korean, will be there with the Bae jersey I special ordered her. That has to bring some luck, right?!
