Thompson is getting roasted on fastballs right down the middle. deGrom hasn’t thrown a pitch over the white part of the plate yet.

probably gets the idea of throwing pitches down the middle since Buc batters take so many of them (at least for strike 3).

The way he’s been pitching the past couple of years has been historically notable. Few teams can match-up with him. He’s one who can be labeled “great”.
