Maybe he was just bored in Indy. ::)
It won't get any better with the Pirates.

Bobster, are you forgetting the first base to home plate rundown? The missing first base while hitting a home run silliness? There’s plenty to be excited about here in Pittsburgh. If he pays attention, Olivia just might see a runner go from first to third by cutting through the infield. Or a batter laying down a squeeze bunt with two outs. No, just about anything can happen here with the big club.
Good point Doc. Oliva will see things with the Pirates that he never thought possible on a baseball diamond. (As long as winning isn't one of them.) And if he can maintain that .167 BA he had in AAA he could start in LF. The lil' Ka'ai'ster can only dream about hitting .167.
What a sad roster this is, particularly the outfielders, with the exception of Reynolds. That very outfield has to be among the worst in baseball history.
Supposedly Alford was doing very good before he hurt his wrist. If and when they bring him up, hopefully Tom will be gone. I see Moran is on the IL again
It's encouraging that Alford is doing well but he has to be able to bring that to the big leagues. If so, he can quickly replace Polanco when he's finally, mercifully, released later this month. Hopefully, Tom will also be cut loose and Oliva can become the 5th outfielder.
