Just limiting his innings.
Okay I was worried it was injury related

is that the first time this season? Surely someone knows how to research that.

I can't believe Rabelo held Hayes at 3B instead of getting him thrown out by 20 feet. Not accustomed to seeing rational decisions from our 3B coach.

But then he tried to get Castro thrown out but Castro barely beat the tag.

10-3 bottom of the ninth. Are the Reds really this bad?

Then BC needs to figure out/upgrade C, 1B and LF
Sign 2 legitimate MLB proven starting pitchers and we might finally have something here ...
That appears to be a good starting five players. I too would consider Mitchell as a possible RF. They need a platoon partner with Chavis at first base. In my opinion things are looking a lot brighter for the Pirates.

Typical Pirates game . . . only as seen from the other dugout.

I like Chavis but I like him much better as a bench guy who starts a few times a week where needed and moves around.

Bucs and their pitchers looked great in this series.
However this success may take them out of the bottom 3 lottery sweepstakes for next years draft.
A moral victory for this year but may impact them long term if they slip to number 6 or 7 in the draft
