The way Shelton always needs to rest his players, I think they have iron poor blood. They need Geritol.

Glad to see Newman getting some hits since coming back. If he’s on the trade block, some other GMs may now be willing to part with a better player than they were a week ago.

Those three hits had a combined exit velocity of about 95. Lauer looks really frustrated and is having trouble with a lot his pitches. Hopefully we can send him to the showers.

Just got back in town. Drove round trip 672 miles for a 7 hour - birthday party. Wasn't even gone 36 hours. Turned on TV to see Hayes go deep.
