Who is the #38 prospect for 2018

Post by psuinpgh21 »

So we creep one step closer to the end of the poll. Can't guarantee when the #39 and #40 polls will be up because of travel later in this week (and not taking a laptop with me). Added a big arm from Bradenton. I don't know that I'm gonna add anyone else. So Barrett Barnes, Tyler Eppler, Travis McGregor, Cody Dickson and Wyatt Mathisen, from last year's poll, sorry, didn't make the grade.

Some who looked good at times last year, some who are rookies but not really prospects (B. Brentz, Stallings), a lot of arms, and some guys making their USA debut might have deserved addition.

Can you tell I'm delaying until the other poll is officially over? In future weeks we will see where these guys end up and who loses their rookie status first (if Kyle Crick doesn't make the team).

Eduardo Vera takes the #37 sport with 26.5% of the votes.

The results so far:

Following TJ surgery, Vera had a strong bounce back year in 2017. He also had a strong bounce back from the previous round when he got zero votes.

Did I miss some big news about him in the past few days?

Surprised that a 23 year old lefty coming off a decent season at AA is still not in our top 40. To me, it's Waddell, McRae and Lantigua 38-40.

Madris with a HR in the Buc ST games yesterday. Yes, I know, it is meaningless. But I'll say it again, this kid is going to surprise people.

If you have not yet voted, please do so, We have a 3 way tie right now. If this happens, we will have a run-off between all 3, the top vote getter will be #38, second #39 and third #40.

That sorta backfired. Now there's a 4 way tie. Again, tie= runoff.
