Brault sent back to Indy

This transaction along with the pending arrival of Giancarlo Stanton is when the Pirates start to get real and the rest of the National League gets nervous.

Neal Huntington has mad skills and Bob Nutting has to keep him under control or the rest of the league would be filing grievances.

He's just too smart for all the other GMs to compete with.

Remember how he, "finds and exploits market inefficiencies?"

Like when he stole Nick Evans and his, "outstanding defense," away from the rest of the GMs that wanted him. He was so good that no team would allow him to play as they felt his defensive skills weren't fair to the rest of the hitters in the league.

And don't forget when Neal was a trailblazer by signing Rinku and Dinesh, the two Indian pitchers, who they made a movie about.

And then there's Neal's precious find of Gift Ngope.

How other organizations are supposed to compete with the genius that Neal possesses is beyond me.

Not fair.

MLB simply doesn't have a level playing field.  While other teams are out spending money like it grows on trees the Pirates have been perfecting:

The totally useless international draft cause it's cheap;

The "every player's in a platoon" system because it's cheap;

The shift defense because it's cheap;

The "nine lives" pitcher theory because it's cheap;

The baseball equivalent of the "four corners stall" by endless promises for some vague future because it's cheap;

The "Pirate misdirection" by dramatically increasing its payroll in the all volunteer Baked Potato Race because it's cheap;

The "Pirate Misdirection #2 - blaming the fans - cause it's cheap,

Etc etc etc.

So while the rest of those crazy owners are out chasing each other, wasting money, our Faithful Owner is saving money.  After all - 29 teams are not going to win the WS, but our Faithful Owner is a winner EVERY year.

Brilliant!
