Pete Rose made an interesting observation about how many HOF pitchers he faced, and how he might face Sutton in LA, Perry and Marichal in SF, and then Gibson and Carleton in StL all in one road trip. Imagine how good of a hitter one had to be to stay in the big leagues when facing that kind of pitching routinely.
I am sure that you faced that kind of pitching on your recent trip to Florida. ;D
When did you become such a smartass?
To the contrary, doc. I was implying that you face some very good competition in Florida. I wish I could go.At my age, if I was lucky enough to get a walk, I would need a pinch runner.

I interpreted the two emojis as you making fun. Actually, the competition is pretty good.

I know the competiition is good. I thinkI told you about the kid (JeffTomlinson) who pitched for Wildwood in the 80's. I know he plays down there. He had a curve that just fell off the table. Bill Osborn is supposed to find out what league he plays in.

If the highlighted would happen it might make Mrs. WWD very happy despite all the aggravation you cause her.
