We already have a Do Little in Pittsburgh,

Yeah, and thankfully he's doing little to make the Pirates worse by signing guys like Sean Doolittle.  Makes me grateful to you for keeping track of, and reminding us of, BC's good work.

Well doc, lets see- the Rays trade Archer to the bucs when he stunk. Now he is back with the Rays and joins Glasnow and Meadows who were the other part of the deal. Thus making this the worst trade in the history of baseball. Your thoughts and also anyone else who cares to comment

The way things go for the Pirates it shouldn't surprise anyone that it ended up this way.  It should also come as no surprise if Archer has a better season than any he had here.  That's how it works in Pirates Land.

I for one, will be rooting for him.

Me, too. He makes it easy to root for him.

You guys keep quoting that post over and over and it's going to end up being one character wide on my phone. Lol

HAHA! I'd like someone to explain the way to copy only a small portion of someone else's post. List the process step by step, and use small words I can understand.

After hitting the quote button you will see this line repeated for every quote that is included in the previous post:

So if there were 3 previous quotes it would look like:

And the actual comments follow, each one followed by such as:

We already have a Do Little in Pittsburgh,

Yeah, and thankfully he's doing little to make the Pirates worse by signing guys like Sean Doolittle.  Makes me grateful to you for keeping track of, and reminding us of, BC's good work.

Look carefully for the beginning and ending brackets identifying each poster at the top. I'll highlight them to demonstrate:

So if you only want to show and reply to the previous comment among the many, carefully put the cursor between the closing bracket ( ] ) of the top quote and the beginning bracket ( [ ) of the next one.

Then highlight everything after the first through and including the that follows the last comment you want to delete from the lengthy post.

With all of that highlighted, hit delete and all that is left is what was not highlighted, i.e., the last comment and who said it. Like this:

We already have a Do Little in Pittsburgh,

Yeah, and thankfully he's doing little to make the Pirates worse by signing guys like Sean Doolittle.  Makes me grateful to you for keeping track of, and reminding us of, BC's good work.

You can use the "Preview" function as you go to see if it's looking the way you want. (Re-hit the Preview button after each change you make to make sure it worked.)

Is it too early to start talking about who Cherington might dump at the trade deadline?

If he packaged K'Bryan Hayes with Polanco, he could find someone to take Polanco's salary off of our hands and save BOB some more money. After all. we weren't going to win in 2022 or 2023 anyway.
